The Geological Exploration and Development Information System (GEDIS)

GEDIS originated in the late 1980s as the geological bore information respository within the Geological Survey of Victoria, it was then known as GeoScience Victoria - Earth Resources, and now a division of the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action named Resources Victoria. The GEDIS data includes Government investigation and stratigraphic bores, groundwater bores, coal bores, petroleum bores, mineral exploration bores, extractive industry (sand, stone and clay) bores, geotechnical bores and other miscellaneous bores.

The version of the GEDIS database is the same as that provided on the Earth Resources website
