Visualising Victoria’s Groundwater (VVG) has recently been nominated for a 2013 Regional iAward.

The iAwards are the premier technology awards that honour the finest achievements in innovation across all facets of ICT in Australia today.

The uniqueness of the VVG project and its implementation of ICT ‘solutions’ to improve groundwater data management in rural and regional Victoria makes it a strong contender for a regional iAward.  The awards application submitted for VVG showcases the exciting initiatives associated with the project and its use of interoperable technologies and new ICT and high speed broadband capabilities to capture, aggregate and spatially depict Victoria's groundwater systems.

An announcement of Victorian state iAwards will be made in June 2013. Group winners of the 2013 iAwards will compete with businesses from across the Asia Pacific region at the 2013 Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards in Hong Kong in November.
