The VVG portal now includes the spatial locations of the GQRUZs that EPA Victoria recently made available. A GQRUZ is an area with remaining groundwater pollution following an environmental audit and cleanup attempts. This restricts some or all beneficial uses to groundwater within that zone.

To see the GQRUZs, tick the EPA Victoria Sites Layer and the sites will appear on the map as green dots. To view information included with these locations, change the drop down box in Query mode to EPA Victoria Sites and left-click on your site of choice. This query pop-up links to EPA Victoria, where you can view the site history and address, restricted uses as well as download the EPA Victoria environmental audit reports and a PDF map of the groundwater restricted use zone/s.
